Overview

Meet at Batchworth Heath near Ye Olde Greene Manne Pub at 10:15.  The quickest way to get to the start of the walk is the 285 bus from Feltham Assembly Hall to Heathrow Bus Station at 08.37, change to bus 102 (not TFL) to Uxbridge (York Road) then a short walk to the bus station and catch the 331 bus to Batchworth Heath.  Toilets are available at Heathrow and Uxbridge. Travel time to start of walk would be 1 hour, 9 minutes from Feltham plus any waiting time.  This is a high undulating walk of 9.2 miles Via Moor Park, Sandy Lodge Golf Course, Oxhey Woods, Hatch End, Harrow Weald Common and Bentley Priory.  There are five stiles. Please bring your own coffee for an al fresco coffee break and lunch will be at Carpenders Park Garden Centre.
