There are 2 options on this walk. One short, led by Nicki (07710980382) 6.5 miles and one long, led by Chris (07395256347) 9.5 miles
Our route (long option) takes us from St. Brides over Ogmore Down and across the rivers Ewenni and Ogmore where the short walkers will be eagerly awaiting us !! From there we will all walk together in a loop around Merthyr Mawr warren, along the north to a little before Newton then along the beach to the Ogmore river and back to the short option parking space.
The longer option walkers will then return to St. Brides over Ogmore Down.
Any sandcastles constructed on the beach are at your own risk - no flags please.
If the weather is kind to us the early start should enable us to enjoy a relaxing beautiful walk.
Please be aware that walking on soft sand can be more challenging than the same distance on firm ground.
