Overview

A moderate walk with pretty views throughout of the surrounding Cotswold countryside.  The walk is mainly across farmland and along quiet country lanes incorporating the picturesque villages of Whichford, Sutton under Brailes and Cherington.  There will be an option to have a post walk drink in the Red Lion pub in Long Compton for anyone who is interested.

The walk starts at 10am from ‘Aunt Phoebe’s Recreation Ground’ in Long Compton which is situated just behind the Village Store – CV36 5JJ (the postcode will probably not take you to the Village store so using W3W may be better). Grid Ref: SP 28750 32784 W3W: perfumed. missions.unafraid There is a small car-park for the recreation ground which may be hard to spot from the main road. If travelling from Redditch, you will drive past the village shop (on your right) on the main road through Long Compton and the entrance to the car-park is the next right immediately after the shop. If the car-park is full there is the possibility to park in Vicarage Lane which is just opposite the village shop.
