Overview

First walk towards bottom of the Long Man of Wilmington. Then we climb steadily up to the top of the Long Man using the South Down Way. We continue along the
South Down Way in a S/SEerly direction with, on a clear day, super views over the Friston Forest and Seven Sisters to the sea. Close to Holt Bottom we use a track to take us eastwards to join the Wealdway northwards. The second part of the walk is mainly downhill, partly on the Wealdway back towards long Man of Wilmington and car park. We make some deviations from the Wealdway to give us better views.
