Overview

We are starting out from Church Stretton through the Cunnery to the reservoir and then we follow Townbrook Valley onto the Long Mynd. We will walk along to Pole Cottage for our coffee break then make our way to Pole Bank trig point - the highest point on the Long Mynd. We descend to pass the Shooting Box and a Tumulus after which we make our final climb up Haddon Hill. This is our lunch stop and has great views on a clear day. After lunch we take a gradual contour to descend to the golf course and walk through to Cardingmill Valley and then through quiet streets to our start point.
