Overview

Circular walk north from Long Preston, via Hunter Bark, visiting Scaleber Force waterfall and return by the side of Wild Share woods. Approx 750 ft of ascent and descent. Good underfoot, mostly on lanes and paths, with just a couple of stiles towards the end of the walk. Panoramic views

Park cars in the village or travel by train to Long Preston station. Walk start by the village green, opposite the Maypole Pub (by the A65). Pub will be open on our return to the village
