Overview

An exploration of Carding Mill Valley and the northern end of the Long Myndd.

A fairly gentle climb takes us from the valley to the moorland.
The majority of todays climb is in the first ascent  (850ft in 1.5miles / 250m in 2.5km) 

We then make our way across the moors to Pole Bank before returning around Burway Hill,

Fantastic views of the surrounding hills including Stiperstones, The Lawley, The Wrekin and Caer Caradoc.
