Overview

From Lydbrook we ascend to the old tramway and then into the fields to the outskirts of Ruardean. A steep climb then takes us to the Beacon in Ruardean Hill. The route returns to Lydbrook through the Forest and on the former railway. If bad weather is forecast please check the group website (fodramblers.org.uk) to confirm that the walk is going ahead
