Lydney Docks 5.5

A flat (19 metres total ascent) 5.5 mile wander.,Leaving the car park we'll cross over the canal then follow the river down river for a mile or so taking in views of the Severn Bridges as we go. We'll turn inland across fields and onto well worn farm tracks up to Aylburton. Depending on conditions we'll either return to fields or plod along the A48 pavements before turning right opposite Taurus Crafts to follow a lane down to Lydney Station.
