Overview

Please meet at Lynford Stag car park for which there is now a £3 charge for parking all day, payable by card or phone.

We will walk through the forest to Lynford Arboretum where we will have a coffee stop at or near The Shepherd's Baa. From there we will skirt the Battle Area to reach the bridge over the Wissey and onward to the Desert Rats Memorial on the A1065. After a look around this interesting site we will return to Lynford Water and walk along to the beach then the western end of Lynford Lake before returning through the forest. to the car park.
