Overview

From Malmsmead we say goodbye to the long walkers and head out to the village of Oare and a special Church with its historical association with the romantic novel of Lorna Doone  written by R D Blackmore.

Then a gentle climb to South Common alongside Great Tom's Hill and Barrows, we then work our way down to an old Medieval site and along Doone Valley to the start, to enjoy a Cream Tea.
