Walk up and down 5 of Malvern Hills, including the highest hill Worcestershire Beacon (1394 ft)
Choice of 2 walks .
The more difficult walk is with Nigel. We will go over all tops of the hills.
The slightly easier walk is with Catherine and some of the tops of the hills are missed out. Those choosing this option will walk around the sides of the hills, not at the bottom but approx half way up.
The two groups will repeatedly meet up and you can choose to swap from one to the other at the meeting points. Whichever route you take ,so long as the weather is fine, will be fantastic. There are well established paths to walk upon offering fabulous views of the area designated National Character Area & Area of Outstanding Nature Beauty.
Picnic Lunch
Please note there is little shade on the hills so take plenty of water, suntan cream and hats.
There are toilets on the train from Birmingham to Colwall but none at Colwall Station.
Halfway along the walk there are toilets at Upper Wyche.
As soon as we get off the hills we will come into Upper Malvern where we can stop at pub or café and use the toilets there
We will be at Stafford train station at 8.45. Meet in foyer.
