We are the Manchester and Salford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Walking through the park we pass the Papal monument, Heaton Hall, the Somme Memorial and the tram museum. Crossing the road we enter Blackley forest. The route also passes Harpurhey ponds onto Queens Park. The Queens Park Museum and Art Gallery is no longer open to the public but remains in the park, most recently used for storing art works from Manchester Art Gallery.
Good paths in the parks, care needed in the woods and some steps to climb in the forest. Seating along the route. No toilets on the route.
