Overview

Please meet outside the Horse & Jockey pub (St Mary’s Street) Manton, LE15 8SU [GR SK 87861 04603 on Explorer 234; What3Words ///mutual.firewall.snoozing].

We will head first to Gunthorpe, before turning west to Brooke (coffee stop).  The return is via America Lodge and Martinsthorpe.  The walk is mainly on firm tracks, although there is bound to be a bit of mud at this time of year.  Just one or two stiles, and mainly walking on the flat.

As this is a shorter walk than usual, we should finish well before 1pm.  A picnic lunch is not required, although do bring a hot drink for our half-way break.
