Overview

Facing the pub, we head right on the road through the village, right on a footpath and right on the roadside to a track past Manton Junction, then left through fields to Wing.  There may be cattle.

We’ll head Left through the village and then down to the railway line. Crossing that to the river, back up next track past Glenbervie, and right along Wing Main Street. Take the track to Crownwell farm, along the road towards Manton and then returning along the same track back to Manton, turning left to the pub..

Horse & Jockey pub (St Mary’s Rd). Please park courteously on St Mary’s Road or Stocks Hill (not in the pub car park). If any difficulties, there is plenty of room on the verge of Lodge Lane. When turning off the main road (A6003) onto Lyndon Road, Lodge Lane is the first turn on the right (quiet lane because it is essentially a dead end).
