Walsall Group of Ramblers has been around since 1992 and in that time we've introduced many people to the joys and benefits of walking with the Ramblers
A walk in and round Dovedale visiting churches at Blore, Ilam and Thorpe.
We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at the advertised meeting time. The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than registered assistance dogs on Walsall Group walks.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Please notify the leader if you intend to travel direct to the walk start, and allow extra time if travelling via M6 junction 10.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.
Oak Park Active Living Centre, Lichfield Road, Walsall Wood, Walsall (old entrance by KFC).
Okeover Arms, Mapleton Road, Mapleton, Ashbourne. Head towards Lichfield then take A515 to Ashbourne, then take A52 towards Leek. After approx. 1 mile turn R to Okeover and Mapleton. At T- junction turn R, go over river, turn R again at T-junction and park in Okeover Arms pub car park. Note the Royal Mail and some road signs say it's Mappleton not Mapleton.
