We are the Amber Valley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk with Paul and Gale on a Moderate 6 mile/10km walk with 120m of ascent in total on generally good tracks/footpaths with very little mud around Shipley Country Park. One stile and no steep gradients. Toilets and refreshments available at the half way point and the pub will be open by the time we return.
Start Place - The Old Black Horse, Mapperley. Parking is in the village or on the approach roads, please share cars if possible as there is not a lot of space in the village
We can park up to ten cars on the right hand side of the car park keeping the left clear for a funeral party that will arrive before we get back, so anyone else will be parking in the village. Please park neatly with consideration for others.
