Overview

A walk of 8.5 - 9 miles via footpaths and the Ashby Canal. Meet at Bosworth Country Park (parking £5 for 3 hours or more).
The walk heads south to Bosworth Battlefield Centre, then via Ambion Wood to Sutton Wharf (may stop for lunch here depending on time). Then we head via canal and footpath to Shenton Station, then a further stretch of canal and lastly a footpath across fields back to Market Bosworth.
Total distance 8.5 - 9 miles of which 2 miles or so is along the canal.
Toilets available at the start / end and at Sutton Wharf and Shenton Station. Pub in Market Bosworth if anyone fancies a drink afterwards.
