Overview

A lovely walk from the town centre into the Wessenden Valley with a bit of everything including woodlands, reservoirs, sections of the Pennine Way and Standedge Trail. A good mix of paths, moorland and a couple of steep climbs before descending into Marsden. Challenging climbs and stream crossings
