We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Carol will be leading two walks today, both from Marshfield. 5.25 miles in the morning and 3 miles in the afternoon which can be combined to make an easy 8.25 mile walk or you can choose to only walk one.
Morning Walk
A 5.25 mile walk through the most beautiful, peaceful valley I know. There are two steep climbs, one short, the other longer! Two stiles. Wonderful views.
We return to Marshfield church for lunch (bring your own) around 12.30. Opportunity to have a drink in the Lord Nelson or Sweetapples Tea room.
Afternoon Walk
3 mile afternoon walk starting at 1.30 pm is Clouds Wood Marshfield, starting from the War Memorial near Lord Nelson pub. Pleasant walk by cottages and farms then entering woodland which may be muddy. There is one short, steep climb.

Bring drinks, snacks and packed lunch if you are planning to do both walks.

Start at Toll House opposite the Almshouses, Marshfield SN14 8LX. Park in the side road immediately on the right as you enter Marshfield from the A420. Or park anywhere on the High Street. There are normally spaces outside the Almshouses at the west end of Marshfield
