We are the South Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The Sunday Ramble leaves from Martin Down car park where we cross the A354 Blandford Road (with care) and make our way to Broad Chalke, Bowerchalke up a steep section to Marleycombe Hill and back to the start. Update 29 Jan Due to extensive flooding this walk will now be a 5 mile loop round Martin Down Nature Reserve followed by another approximate 5 mile loop round Vernditch Chase. It will be very muddy and wet underfoot. Map: EX130.
