Meall Chuaich is a rounded Munro on the east side of the A9 near Dalwhinnie. Its solitary position gives a superb viewpoint towards the Ben Alder range and Cairngorm mountain area. Tracks for the approach followed by an eroded path up the hill itself make this one of the simpler Munro summits. We will follow the Walkhighlands route.

Local walk grade: Slow A
Car park behind West Port Hotel. Those attending will have to sort car sharing themselves as the walk leader is going direct to the start.
Layby east of the A9 just south of Chuaich.
