From Plaitford we will weave our way along mainly good solid tracks and quiet lanes past farmland and through woods. Our coffee stop will be at the imposing Melchet Court so bring refreshments. The walk is fairly gentle and there are no stiles. The area is fairly well drained and so not a great deal of mud on these tracks.
The car park at the Plaitford Village Hall is free and very large. There is a 2 metre height restriction. If required, please let the leader know in advance and the code for the barrier can be provided.
Please bring your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with you.
There are some pubs nearby for lunch afterwards.
