This walk takes us out of Meriden along the Millennium Way across open fields and through woodland. We will skirt the local quarry (!) before heading across country to pick up the Coventry Way to take us back towards Meriden. This is an easy walk, with a couple of gentle hills to climb, and only 2 low stiles. There are lovely views of the countryside, with the Birmingham skyline visible if we get a clear day.
We will have a short break for a snack and a drink, midway through the walk.
Park in the car park for Meriden Sports Fields. There are about 25 spaces. The entrance is off the main roundabout in the centre of the village.
