This is a wonderful walk with stunning views across rural Northamptonshire which takes in the lovely villages of Stoke Albany and Ashley. The distance as planned is 6.61 miles but getting those views means a bit of work with 518 feet of ascent, reaching a maximum height of 439 feet. One note of caution, unfortunately the local farmer has padlocked one of the footpath gates which as a result requires climbing. There are also approximately 6 stiles to negotiate.
