We are the South Lanarkshire Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk is centred near the former spa town of Moffat in Dumfries and Galloway.
The walk starts at the Ram Statue and heads along a country road for a mile to join the Annan path.
We walk alongside the Annan Water through a wooded area to re-enter the town.
Toilets at library, cafe nearby.
Dumfries bus X74 at Hamilton Bus Station 9:25 am.

Walk starts at 11:am. from The Ram Statue in Moffat.
Poles and good footwear are recommended.
The path through the wood is uneven with lots of loose stones.
