Overview

Our walk begins at Leatherhead station, where we'll set off alongside the picturesque River Mole, joining the Mole Valley Way. As we leave Leatherhead, we'll be treated to stunning views of the Surrey Hills, including Box Hill and Mickleham Hill. We'll cross the valley floor to reach the village of Mickleham.

Next, we'll ascend Mickleham Hill, crossing its wooded summit to follow a path along the hill's edge, offering fantastic views across the Surrey Hills. We'll then descend to the valley floor before climbing around the side of Box Hill, where even more breathtaking views of the Mole Valley await.

We'll cross the valley again, with a potential stop at the cozy Stepping Stones Pub for a refreshing break. After leaving the pub, we'll traverse open fields and ascend the wooded valley sides, providing a different perspective of the Mole Valley.

Finally, we'll head down to the River Mole and retrace our steps back to Leatherhead.
