We are the Tweeddale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Follow the road to Moorfoot Farm and then a track to the South up the valley passing Gladhouse Cottage and Hiendean Castle. Take a track to the left, which flanks Clinty Cleuch. There is now a prolonged steep climb to level ground at the top. We then head down to the main valley of Blackhope and past the farm. We then swing left and upwards and follow a grassy path to reach a gate in the col. We head downwards and pick up a path running along the foot of the hillside. At the end we turn right and head North to reach Mauldslie Farm, then Huntly Farm and Moorfoot Farm.
Majority of good paths with some rough ground to cross.

Park at the West side of Gladhouse Reservoir (grid ref 292 528 ) Note this is a small no through road signposted to Moorfoot. Parking approx 750yds down the road. Parking is limited so please share transport where possible.
