We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk from the Royal Oak at Cogenhoe taking in Brafield and heading towards Brafield Stadium. on a clear day there should be good views to the north, west and south. There are few stiles and most of the walk is along field edges rather than across fields so although there will be some mud, much of the walk will be on grass paths or hard surfaces.
Good surfaces, mainly flat with a couple of short minor ascents and descents. There may be livestock in some fields so RA dogs only. Use car park at Royal Oak, Cogenhoe if staying for refreshments. The pub will be open from about 0915 to take pre-orders for food.
