A walk to see the completed new section of coast path near Rotherslade which has recently been re-routed following the erosion of the cliff.
We’ll walk past Fortes and make our way along the Wales Coast Path to Rotherslade.
The path is undulating with some ascent.
There will be a stop at Rotherslade where there are toilets and a café.
Then we make an ascent of the road to Langland Corner before following The Mumbles Ridgeway Nature Reserve.
From Thistleboon Road, we ascend 40+ steps onto Mumbles Hill Nature Reserve. From here there are fine views of Swansea Bay and Mumbles Lighthouse.
There will be some mud, so walking poles are advisable.
Stiles: There are no stiles on this walk.
Toilets: Available at Bracelet Bay and Rotherslade.
