A NEW country walk of 6.2 miles north-west from the remote Black Horse Pub in Brent Pelham, along peaceful paths through Meesdon and around Scales Park before visiting a very ladylike grove. Gentle walking with no stiles, but starting with two ploughed-up paths that will be muddy if it rains.

Opportunity for lunch (about 12.45 - 1.00pm) at the pub, orders to be taken from 9.45am in the car park.
