Overview

The car park itself is half way up the downs but there is a slow hill up to the top at the beginning round the Long Man. Once at the top the rest of the walk is reasonable level and also with relatively little mud! The walk goes over Windover Hill down to Jevington back across to Folkington and back to Wilmington mainly on chalk paths. There are 3 lovely churches and some spectacular views. However the last small stretch of chalk path before Wilmington has a very uneven stony base so care required.
