We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts in the centre of Moulton by the co op. From this point we will walk up to the high ground above Pitsford Reservoir. Then we will follow the footpath to Holcot and return through the fields to Moulton. Its a very pleasant walk with some lovely views. There is a section of road walking but on wide verges. There are sheep in some of the fields so only RA dogs please. Also there are a few muddy patches and five stiles.
There is a public car park behind the Cardigan Arms car park. The entrance is by the bus shelter in the centre of the village. Just keep driving until you reach the top of the road.
The Moulton pubs will be open and possibly the two cafes for refreshments after the walk.
