Overview

We will start at Mount Batten water sports pontoon.  From there we follow the SWCP to Radford Park and then head up to the top of Burrow Hill where there is a memorial with stunning views.  We continue through Radford woods to join the Devon Coast to Coast path at Staddiscombe and on to Wembury.  We follow the SWCP back towards Plymouth.

This walk crosses a few stiles and there are some fallen trees and other obstacles to navigate in Radford Woods.

There are five sets of toilet blocks and several cafes with ice cream opportunities on this walk.

The No 2 Bus runs to and from Mount Batten several times an hour.  The Mount Batten Ferry runs twice an hour.

Any eager swimmers can take a dip at Wembury during the lunch break.

There is plenty of free parking at Mount Batten
