This is a varied country walk including woodlands, open country, some lovely views, part of the Hertfordshire Way long-distance footpath and gentle ups and downs. Our short break, roughly half-way, will be within view of Widdford Church. We return along the High St where the Bull will be open and ready to serve your refreshment of choice.
This isn't a particularly challenging walk but the terrain is variable and can be muddy in places, so sturdy walking boots - and poles, if you usually use them - are advised. Please park considerately on the High St near the pub.
