Starting from Much Wenlock's ruined priory, the walk will take us out of town and into the gently rolling countryside. Views will take in distant views of Brown Clee, Titterstone Clee and the Wrekin. The walk consists of field walking, quiet tracks and roads, fairly gentle inclines (and declines) and a couple of short, sharp climbs. There are many gates and a few stiles.
There is plenty of parking at the start (free for English Heritage members). Although there are no toilets here, there are public toilets (20p a go) at St Mary's car park in the town which is only 10 minutes' walk away, and could be an alternative parking spot. Much Wenlock is awash with places to eat and drink.
