Starting from The Bog car park, we climb up to the quartzite ridge of The Stiperstones, then travel south along the ridge towards Nipstone Rock and The Rock before crossing the valley ro the west by Brookshill Farm.  We then climb up again onto Mucklewick Hill and travel north east towards Grit Hill and Pennerley before turning east and then south on the lower slopes of The Stiperstones and return to The Bog for refreshment.

This is a day walk, so we will stop for coffee and lunch on the way.  Bring snacks or sandwiches and plenty of fluid.  The ridge is rocky and can be difficult to walk on, so sturdy boots and poles are advised.  There will be several stiles.
