Our annual Mulled Wine & Mince Pie walk is a Moderate undulating walk with a number of hills through the lovely Surrey Hills countryside. Total ascent 487ft.
Starting from Puttenham top car park we start by walking down to Rodsall Manor then via narrow woodland paths in Mitchen Hall Plantation & across open undulating countryside until we reach the hamlet of Peper Harow continuing onto Norney, and then down into Shackleford, where we will 'pop the corks' on the mulled wine & tuck into mince pies in the salubrious setting of the Shackleford bus stop! After refreshment we continue the last stretch of our walk climbing the hill back to the car park via Rodsall Manor.
Some road walking/road crossings, no stiles. Could be muddy in places after heavy rain.
Car share if possible as alcohol will be served!!
Lunch at Cyder House after & possible pre order required 1 week in advance but I will confirm nearer the date.
