This 'Special' walk the from the Ramblers carpark is subject to weather conditions as some parts may become flooded after heavy rain, please check website for updates.
This walk starts/finishes from the Ramblers car park at Boveney taking us across Dorney Common & farm fields to the Jubilee River then following the riverbank east to Dorney, then passing Dorney Court until we reach the Thames, where we follow the towpath overlooking Dorney Lake (location for 2012 Olympic rowing events) leaving the towpath we continue passing Boveney Court back to the carpark. This walk was created for the book 'More great walks in the Chilterns' & claims to see historic buildings, modern engineering projects & film locations finishing with peaceful & tranquil Thames stroll ! . An easy walk on level ground offering Mr Brightside café stop where we stop for banana break
Some parts of this walk liable to flooding after heavy rain, (therefore possible cancellation) waterproof boots recommended
