A walk with David from The National Stone Centre car park, going via High Peak Trail, Midshires Way, Cromford Moor following some, Wonderful, Winding, Wibley Wobbley Woodland Ways to achieve Bole Hill Trig point and then back to the Trail for the return. We will pass under, above and beside Black Rock but not to it. No stiles, surfaces should be good for most weather conditions. Morning break after two and a half miles, on Midshires Way.
Risk Assessment. No stiles, just the one busy road to cross, Cromford Hill, good sight lines but do take care as traffic at times is heavy. Most surfaces are Grit Stone, but rocky in places, tripping hazard, take care. Woodland paths, have many exposed tree roots and rocks in places, take care slippery if wet. Good footwear needed as there are several steep downhill descents. Some wooden steps on one descent, which could be slippery if wet. Be aware of cyclists along the Trail. 07918882152 my contact number whilst walking
