We are the Hampshire 40+ Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting and finishing at Brockenhurst Station, the walk will include heath and woodland, using mainly cycle tracks but with some road walking and some paths which may be muddy.
Moderate in length, but will be done at a leisurely pace.
Walking boots required. Well behaved dogs with responsible owners welcome.
Bring a packed lunch for a stop half way round at Bolton's Bench, Lyndhurst.
Toilets at beginning, end and at Lyndhurst.
Meet in the car park on the south side of the station at 11.15am for a start at 11.30. The walk leader will be coming by train, expected to arrive at 11.05. A Saturday train service will apply with some alterations: check National Rail. Normal weekday parking charges are £8.60, but I hope that the public holiday price will apply, ie £4.30.
