We are the Castle Bromwich Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join me on this easy, stile-free stroll through the country park that provides an oasis for wildlife in the midst of our town. From the car park we will set off through some quality housing before taking a leafy footpath that traverses Walmley Golf Course and leads to Penns Lane. We then follow the Plantsbrook stream and the well made paths of the country park before returning to the car park with a streamside stroll.
After the walk we will adjourn to The Fox, Walmley for a drink and a chat. You must remember to record your car reg number to avoid a fine if parking in the pub car park.
Proceed along Wylde Green Road from the direction of Walmley, watch for a sign to New Hall Valley Country Park car park - and take a right into the car park.
