A pleasant scenic ramble along the Chalke Valley to Bowerchalke with extensive downland views. Particularly suitable for new members, the route comprises lower level walking with only a couple of gentle inclines. Generally good paths, farm tracks and short stretches on quiet lanes. Possibility of some muddy patches after rain. One mid morning stop in Bowerchalke (please bring drink and a snack). One stile. EX130.
