A short walk for New Year's Day followed by lunch at the Fox & Hounds, Barley. Please book in advance.
From the Fox and Hounds we will walk southwards to Abbotsbury Farm via Smith's End. The return is through Shaftenhoe End. The terrain is a mixture of footpaths and quiet roads. At the time of the recce the footpaths were in good condition but if it is wet nearer to the day of the walk then walking boots would be sensible.
Meet outside the pub - if eating you might be able to park in the pub car park else park in the road or additional parking can be found by the Barley Town House if needed
