From the Rams Head we head up onto Green Lane and the East Gate to Lyme Park. Crossing the Deer Park to Lyme Hall. Returning Via the Cage with great views over to Kinder in the East and the Cheshire Plain to the West.
After the walk we propose to have a New Year Drink in the Rams Head followed by an informal meal (for those who are interested, we do not intent to pre-book, just take pot luck on the day)
New Mills Coop Car Park for Optional Car Share to Start
Out side the Rams Head Disley. There is free parking by the station, there is a charge for the Rams Head car park. Those going direct to the start to please inform the leader in case of any late changes.
