Nigel has recced this walk and will lead with the help of Trevor. It starts and ends at the lay-by at North Petherton Rugby Club. It’s quiet country lanes, footpaths, forest paths and farm tracks passing through Kings Cliff Woods and the poly tunnels of the Strawberry Farm. 2 stiles only , a fairly steep ascent within the woods. Apart from the end where the footpath meets a sunken road it was not muddy.
Meet and park at the lay-by at North Petherton Rugby Club W3W treat.carbon.gentleman. There is also another lay-by, approx 150 metre closer to Taunton as overflow carpark if needed.
