Overview

Meeting Point  

We will meet at the car park at the Low Lights, North Shields Fish Quay.  Car Park is free and has Public Toilets.  This is a popular car park and can be busy so please arrive early.

Walk Details

This is a lovely walk on mostly good surfaces with one steep ascent (near the start of walk) on Stairs up from the Quayside to Tyne Street (landings on the way up to take a breather!)

We walk past historic maritime buildings, ferry landing, docks and a statue of a world famous comedian as we progress towards Royal Quays Marina.

We will take a short break for a drink/ snack in Linear Park before heading back to the Fish Quay where you can get Fish & Chips, coffee & other refreshments etc.
