LVF Ramblers is a friendly, sociable group, specialising in short leisurely weekend walks of 3-4 miles in town & country, mainly accessible by public transport.
Meet at 10.30 in the ticket hall of St James’s Park station (District & Circle lines).

There are no District or Circle line trains west of Embankment. Three suggestions for getting to St James’s Park station:-
Take the Victoria line to Victoria, walk down Victoria Street in the direction of Westminster Abbey, and turn left into Broadway about three-quarters of the way down.
Take the Jubilee line to Westminster, cross Parliament Square and walk down Tothill Street which is next to the Methodist Central Hall (the large building with the dome roof).
Alight at Embankment and walk along Embankment in the direction of Big Ben, cross Parliament Square continuing as above.
Please allow a little extra time to cope with the inconvenience.
Join Mary for a three mile gentle stroll in the area behind Victoria Street, discovering a famous meeting hall/registry office, site of an old school, visit the Onion Garden, see The Other Palace, walk through peaceful Victoria Square with its statue of a very young Queen Victoria, passing the Goring Hotel with its royal connections. Finishing at Victoria station (mainline, District, Circle & Victoria lines). Toilets and refreshments.
