Overview

We will start with a lovely wander along Dimmings Dale before ascending gently towards Newton.
We will then head north to explore Hawksmoor Wood with some slightly steeper ups and downs. The reward for your effort is stunning views across the Staffordshire Moorlands and over to Cheadle where the spire of Pugin's church stand out.

We will the drop down towards Oakamoor and conclude our walk following the bed of the former railway along the Churnet Valley.
