We are the Bromley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk with lovely views and some hills. We head through Ide Hill & Emmetts Garden for a mid morning break, then onto Crockham Hill for lunch. The cafe at Emmets is closed, but a tea hut may be open. The toilets are open as usual. Bring a picnic as pub can be very busy. NOTE EARLY START.
Meet in Toys Hill National Trust CP (free). From A25 turn into Chart Lane towards Toys Hill, CP is on the right. PLEASE NOTE that Chart Lane may be closed. You will therefore need to turn off the A25 into Church Road/Sundridge Road, turn right into Emmets Lane, and at the end turn left into Chart Lane, with the CP on the right.
